Brookfield Engineering Science Technology or BEST Academy is a fully accredited, tuition-free, public charter school serving 3rd-12th grade California students in San Diego, Orange, Riverside, and Imperial counties. 

Our California-credentialed teachers and counselors customize every student's individual learning pathway based on their interests, diverse backgrounds and goals to provide homeschool and independent study learning while providing a strong social-emotional approach that supports college and career readiness.

We are fully accredited by the Western Association of Schools and Colleges (WASC) through the June 30, 2024. WASC Accreditation certifies to students, families, other educational institutions and the general public that BEST Academy meets established criteria and standards.
