In accordance with charter law, students may not be concurrently enrolled in this school and any other private or public school. It is not necessary to obtain an inter/intra-district transfer from your local school district to attend BEST Academy.

Step 1:

Our Enrollment team will contact you with more information on enrolling at BEST Academy
After submitting the School Enrollment Interest Form, an Enrollment Specialist will contact you to complete your child's enrollment packet for completion. Applications are considered complete when enrollees have submitted an application filled out in its entirety and that application is signed by the parent or guardian along with the required documents according to the student’s grade level.

Welcome to BEST Academy!
You will be provided a link to the Parent/Student Portal. The school counselor or Academic Success Coach will reach out to schedule an orientation for onboarding. Once you have completed orientation, we will create your schedule of classes for you. We are thrilled to welcome you to the BEST Academy community!
Thank you for your interest in pursuing your child's education with BEST Academy. We are a fully accredited, tuition-free, public charter school serving students in grades TK-12.

Students must be in TK-12th grade and provide proof of residency within one of the following counties:​

After completing the Enrollment Interest form, you can begin the online enrollment process. To enroll, you will need the following documents:​

Copy of birth certificate or passport
Additional documents you will need for enrollment as applicable:​

First grade health and dental form

Once enrolled, you may be asked to provide a current copy of an IEP, 504, or healthcare plan as applicable. If your student has an IEP, 504, or healthcare plan, you may need to contact a counselor to provide a copy of the most current document.
Online Enrollment Complaint Procedure
Pursuant to Education Code (EC) Section 47605(d)(4), charter schools are not allowed to discourage a pupil from enrolling or seeking to enroll in a charter school because the pupil exhibits any characteristics such as students with disabilities, academically low-achieving, English learners, neglected or delinquent, homeless, socially economically disadvantaged, foster youth, or based on nationality, race, ethnicity, or sexual orientation.

Also pursuant to this new law, a parent, guardian, or student who is 18 years or older may file a Charter School Complaint Form to the Charter School’s authorizing entity if they suspect the charter school is in violation of Education Code (EC) Section 47605(d)(4).
